Facture™, one of Brian's ventures, specializes in collaborating with top manufacturers in China to jointly develop new brands targeting western markets. Their products have gained widespread attention and have been featured in various prominent publications, including Forbes, Wired, WSJ, Yahoo, PC World, and MacWorld, as well as in books like "Crowdfund Investing for Dummies" and "iPad Secrets." Facture has also worked with well-known brands like Blackberry (NASDAQ BBRY) to design and develop Original Design Manufacturing (ODM) and Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) products.

Facture™ operates in a landscape where eastern manufacturers in China are increasingly capable of producing high-quality products that rival or surpass those designed by western companies. This shift in the competitive landscape has seen the emergence and expansion of eastern tech giants like Samsung, Xiaomi, and Huawei, while the markets of western companies like Apple and GoPro have matured and contracted.

Hullinger+Probst capitalizes on these changing market dynamics by partnering with eastern manufacturers that excel in product development, engineering, and manufacturing. They help these manufacturers enter the western market directly, contributing to the growth of co-owned brands that benefit from the capabilities of their Chinese partners. Hullinger+Probst sees itself as a pioneer in this evolving trend in international business, leveraging the strengths of eastern manufacturers to compete effectively in the western marketplace.
